cyber monday folks

While I am a huge discount shopper, I am not a fan of black friday; probably due to the mob-like zombie horde of people that go to stores at midnight.

However, today is the start of a glorious thing called cyber monday. Where I can sit on my butt and order hugely discounted items online. Best of all, most sites have FREE shipping. Hallelujah!

Here are a few of my favorite membership sites.

New sales everyday at 12 Noon for women, home, kids, even a mens shop.

New boutiques open at 11am but only stay open for 48 hours.

80% off retail prices of designer fashion for men and women.

I found this site has the most sales. And they just teamed up with Nordstom Rack. *squeal*

I rarely go to the website because I like that it comes right to my email.

Similar to livingsocial, geared for each city.

I've bought so many vouchers and had great experiences. Now they have a new coupon section that shows you which sites have promo codes for a limited time. The best.

Daily boutique deals with the best prices.

So many items, you could get lost. They even have a subscription to a fancybox!

Unique finds with superb customer service. (from experience)

Great unique finds for up-and-coming designers.

Hope you all have a relaxing Caturday everyone!

It's called soda! Not pop!

Lately, I have been obsessed with North Woods Law. For those that don't know, it is a show on Animal Planet about the game wardens in Maine. Now, I don't admit this to a lot of people, but I am from a northern Maine milltown, which really should be a whole other country on it's own. Here's me and my cousin back home: While watching the show, I've noticed no matter what area of the state, they all have a distinct accent. I've worked hard to get rid of it, but I'm plagued by it. I came across a really cool video on philebrity.com about a study of how people in different areas of the U.S. pronounce the same word. It shows a map on the left side and a picture of the object on the right side. Whenever, someone is talking, the map is lit up in the region that it is most spoken. It also gives you enough time to say it to yourself and see if it stands true. You can watch the  VIDEO  here.
